Is it possible to build a dvd ROM in de desktop? If so, how to so? And how to get the opening of the ROM in the front (the front doesnt have an inlet)?

Here is the manual for the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower PC
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04331008
This is a picture from page 3 showing where the DVD/CD drive would go
item #7 would be where the drive would go, if you have a panel that will allow the installation. Page 68 and 69 refer to the installation steps.

Hi @TheOldMan
I believe the model the Member has, does not have a slot for the DVD drive (which is basically a notebook drive), so most likely would need to replace the front bezel.
Regards,
David

If the model is as @iomare pictured, instead of the one I pictured, then it would probably be easier to use an external DVD/CD drive rather than replacing the front bezel, assuming one could be found.
