How can I find out if I can upgrade/replace the 4GB x2 DDR3 RAM in my old HP Pavilion Desktop H8-1217. I cannot find anything on the internet about it. My computer only has 2 slots for the RAM cards so I know I cannot just add more. I would need to replace the current 4GB x2 DDR3 RAM with something bigger but I do not know if my current system can support more RAM. It has Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.4Ghz 4 core (also notes "8 logical Processors" but no clue what that means). x64 based system. 2T Hard drive. Operating system is Windows 10 Home but not sure how many bit as in the directory it is labeled windows32. Want to upgrade to Windows 11 but I need more RAM to do so. Can I upgrade/replace the RAM? What do I look for as far as compatibility? Is it as easy as taking out the original two 4GB cards and replacing them with two larger cards? If I can replace RAM how much can my system support?
