This is my PC: https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c03678326

Is it possible to upgrade to an SSD on this computer? It's been starting to feel rather slow lately.

I also want to know if it's possible to upgrade the RAM on this computer as it seems to become overloaded rather easily these days.

I believe you can upgrade your HDD to a standard SSD.  There is no M.2 socket on the motherboard.  A Samsung EVO 860 should be compatible: https://www.newegg.com/samsung-860-evo-series-1tb/p/N82E16820147673

You may want to contact Samsung's Tech Support to make certain.  I don't want you to have to return it if it isn't compatible.  The HDD and the EVO are SATA III.  I suggest that you open the case to check the HDD connectors, also.

Here is the memory that is recommended for your computer by Crucial Memory.  You will have to remove the existing memory to upgrade to 16 GB.  If you have questions about their memory, you should contact their Tech Support.  They have always been very helpful.

The 860 was expensive so I got the 870 EVO instead. I plugged it in with a SATA to USB cable and Samsung Magician said it was not compatible and wouldn't clone with it. I had to use a different program to clone the drive but after cloning and swapping the drives everything seems to be working perfectly and much faster as well.

Thank you for the additional information, @Nedyar!  We always like to hear the success stories.  I have no doubt that your computer is faster.
