Hello, I currently have a pc with a gtx 1660 super and a i5-10400f with 16 gb of ram and my mother board baseboard product hp 8704. I play in 1080p and my monitor is 240hz. My pc is the default hp omen 25l. I’m looking to upgrade to either a rtx 4060 or an rtx 3060 ti and I don’t know which one would be better for the price or if my motherboard is even compatible for either one. I’m not sure if I would have to upgrade my cpu either. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Yes, your HP Desktop as fitted with the Dorado motherboard (SSID: 8704) is most certainly compatible with an RTX 4060, as long as you got at least a 400-watt power supply and one 8-pin PCIe power cable. Since you got an Omen 25L, you should have at least a 500-watt power supply.
Anyway, if you can afford it, I would recommend a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 Ti, powered by a single 8-pin power supply cable. You can purchase one for less than $400, such as this Amazon purchase option: https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-GeForce-WINDFORCE-Graphics-GV-N406TWF2OC-8GD/dp/B0CBW16TL3/ref=sr_1_....
