I have had the M01-F1214 for a year or two and have been using it for gaming, but the integrated graphics are quite lacking, so I want to upgrade the GPU. I have already done some research and it seems like the L05757-800 would be the strongest power supply I could get for this computer, so if the current power supply is replaced with the L05757-800, would it work with the 3060? I'm not very knowledgeable about computers so sorry if this is an obvious question.

Your HP Desktop M01-F1214 appears to be fitted with the Erica3 motherboard (SSID: 87D6) -please verify by typing in: System Information in your Windows search bar, and by clicking on the System Information app. Look to the right of: "BaseBoard Product", which will provide a 4-digit alpha-numerical (SSID) code.
The other motherboard option for your PC would be a BakerMS motherboard (SSID: 8768).
Regardless, yes, the 500-watt L05757-800 power supply is compatible with your desktop and should provide plenty of power for a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 3060, RTX 4060, or RTX 4060 Ti model, powered by a single 8-pin PCie power cable.
