I've been trying to find instructions to "print screen" on my HP All-in-One 27 - I can't find any diagrams showing what the keys with icons do - and would like to have clarity on this.
There is no obvious key to "Print Screen" and I can't find any diagrams within the user guide.

@Poppy2323, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thanks for reaching out about your HP All-in-One 27-cr0032na PC and the wireless keyboard layout. I understand you're looking for a diagram or instructions to identify the Print Screen key and other icons on the keyboard. Here's how you can take screenshots and understand the key functions:
Print Screen Function on HP Wireless Keyboards
Many newer HP wireless keyboards do not have a dedicated "Print Screen" (PrtScn) key. Instead, you can use Windows 11's built-in screenshot tools:
Option 1: Use Snip & Sketch (Recommended)
- Press Windows + Shift + S.
- Your screen will dim and a snipping toolbar will appear.
- Select the area you want to capture.
- The screenshot is copied to your clipboard and can be pasted (Ctrl + V) into apps like Paint, Word, or email.
Option 2: Save Full Screenshot Automatically
- Press Windows + PrtScn (if available).
- The screen will briefly dim.
- The screenshot is saved to:
Pictures > Screenshots folder.
If your keyboard lacks a visible PrtScn key, try pressing Fn + Windows + Spacebar - this works on some HP models
Understanding Keyboard Icons
HP keyboards often use icons on function keys (F1–F12) for quick actions like:
- 🔇 Mute
- 🔊 Volume up/down
- 💡 Keyboard backlight
- 🔍 Search
- 📶 Wireless toggle
You can find a full explanation of these icons and hotkeys here: HP PCs - Keyboard shortcuts, hotkeys, and special keys (Windows) | HP® Support
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
