HP ENVY 750-175se
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade the hard drive on my HP ENVY 750-175se. The configuration site for this computer lists the following "First Hard drive" options. I would like to know if I am limited to these or could I go bigger (say a 4 TB, 6 TB, or 8TB drive)?

Must select one of the following options:
1 TB 7200 rpm SATA 6G
2 TB 7200 rpm SATA 6G
3 TB 7200 rpm SATA 6G
256 GB SATA TLC Solid State Drive
512 GB SATA Solid State Drive

I was also wondering whether there are limitations with regards to SSD drives?  For example, could I put a 2TB SATA SSD drive in this?

@Fotiman,

The 2TB SSD should be the boot drive and programs.  Any 4+ TB drive should be for data.

Thanks. But my question, specifically, is whether or not this particular model can accept drives larger than 3 TB, since the original options for this model only went up to 3 TB.  Are there any system limitations that prevent using a larger drive?

Note, I think the answer is that there are no such limitations, and I should be able to use a larger drive, I just wanted verification before trying it.
