Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dw0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Pavilion has the following USB C port (see image), I just need to know if it is a thunderbolt port or if it can work with a thunderbolt docking station (HP ELITE THUNDERBOLT 3 DOCKING STATION HSTNN-CX01)

Thank you!

They have same shape and size. What is your Pavilion 14-dw0xxx machine ? For example

          HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14-dw0063tu

Your machine should have same ports with the above machine and that USB-C port is NOT a Thuderbolt port.

But, I tested an Envy machine (Envy x360 15-ee0047nr) which has same SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port and it works perfectly with USB-C Gen 5 dock.

The Elite dock with Thunderbolt™ 3 is only compatible with some machines as shown:

The image appears to be a little charge port - not Thunderbolt.
