Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-1000i (6V9R9AV)

Hi.

I have a HP Victus 15l with this motherboard: HP 8B3B. I just installed new RAM to Kingston FURY Beast DDR4-3200 - 2x GB. However i only get 2400 mhz. I do understand that the motherboard is able to give 3200 mhz with a compatible. I have two questions:

1. Is it possible to make the motherboard run with 3200 MHZ through bios settings?
2. If not: Which ram will run at 3200 mhz (dual ram and 16 gb) with this motherboard

Kind regards. Victor Aagaard Jacobsen

If you added the new memory to what was already there, the memory will default to the slowest speed of the modules.

Your HP Victus 15l  PC  does not have a BIOS that allows modification of any of the memory bus or module parameters, so that is a no.

If you install  a pair of guaranteed compatible DDR4-3200 MHz  modules they should run at 3200 MHz.
