Hey, I was wondering if HP supports/if anyone knows about converting that J41 MXM to a PCIE x8 connection? Would make these devices much more usable if it had a half decent GPU!
If not, that's fine, but if you have any idea on any resources detailing how the connector works/how it puts MXM into that form factor, that would be appreciated.
Not even gonna lie, HP has disappointed me in the past, so I hope they won't disappoint now. Vowed I would never buy another HP Product, until I saw this one for 100 bucks. Needed a New PC so I picked it up, and it works great! Just wish I had something stronger than Vega 11 and a 560X.
Thank you in advance.

Hi, Sasha. It sounds like you're having issues with your EliteDesk PC. No worries, there's absolutely a way to use your PCIe x8 GPU with J41 MXM. There are various solutions available for people in a similar situation to you, like a USB 1.1 to ePort Docking Station adapter, which will enable you to use the highly anticipated future GPU by NVidia, the GeForce RTX 2060.
