KEYBOARD NOT WORKING HOW TO CLAIM WARRANTY

1 REPLY 1
HP Recommended

Hi @ssayan

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that your keyboard is not working and that the serial number is showing as "Unidentified." I'll do my best to help. To assist you further and check the appropriate warranty options, could you please confirm the following?

  • Is this an HP keyboard (wired, wireless, or Bluetooth)?
  • Is the keyboard built into an HP laptop or is it an external HP keyboard?
  • When did the issue first start?
  • Does the keyboard receive power (for example, do any indicator LEDs light up)?

Once I have this information, I'll guide you through the next troubleshooting steps and advise you on the warranty claim process if the keyboard is determined to be faulty.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
