Can someone PLEASE tell me how I'd know that my KG-0851 Desktop Wireless Keyboard is ON / Working?  Picked one up at an Estate Sale with the idea of using it on my backup computer (the one I'm on now).  It seemed to be working before we decided to make the purchase.

I have changed the batteries several time, and Scanned to connect, via Bluetooth, SEVERAL TIMES.

I have had a different company WIRELESS KEYBOARD connect to the same Computer with ZERO Issues.  I'm using my old Keyboard to compose this problem.

If I can't tell if the Keyboard is ON / Working, then I imagine that may be the reason the Bluetooth Scans AREN'T identifying the keyboard, and thus, NO PAIRING.

Thank you.

It is a very old keyboard. Did you also get a receiver (or USB dongle) to GO with it ? It does not support Bluetooth w/o the dongle it won't work.

Thank you for the replies.

The Keyboard in question is on its way to a landfill!

Made a mistake by trusting a nice lady at an estate sale.  Luckily it wasn't a more-costly lesson.
