Here is the motherboard support page. The blue connectors at the bottom edge are the USB 3.0 pinouts and are standardized.

I plan to swap my old HP case with new one for better cable management coz I plan to install a 29 cm VGA card.
I have read from this forum...that new case front Panel USB 3.0 won't work if I plug it into motherboard because of HP device propriety.
Thats why I confuse about that statement before I swap with new case.
Thanks a lot for your help

That is interesting. I can see why the question. Let us know how this turns out. Assuming the new case has the plug for the front USB ports, I would think it would work because of the standardization.

Same as Suard, I've just replaced the case of my ENVY Phoeny(https://support.hp.com/gb-en/product/hp-envy-phoenix-810-400-desktop-pc-series/7477706/model/7729650) with this one: https://en.sharkoon.com/product/1699/19298#desc
It has two front USB 3.0 ports, but they are not working. Could this be because I'm using Windows 7?
I installed the USB 3.0 provided drivers: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-phoenix-810-400-desktop-pc-series...
But, no luck.
Thanks

In looking at this again, it would seem that the HP USB 3.0 port on the motherboard is not the standardized USB 3.0 type. Therefore the front ports are not connected properly when plugging in the front port connector from a non-HP case. This proprietary connection is the reason using a HP motherboard with a non-HP case results in the front USB 3.0 connections not working. That would mean a conversion needs to be done, or use the rear ports. The alternative would be to insert a PCIxE card that has internal USB 3.0 ports to use those ports for the case front ports.

Would be nice if you are able to confirm this point about the motherboard ports not being standard.
A conversion would be something difficult to achieve I think. Otherwise, yes: an addon USB 3.0 PCIxE card would make this fix for this.
Best regards

I cannot confirm the info but in this thread it would seem to be a possibility
Since I do not have one of these motherboards, I cannot test but as BigDave states in that thread, try a USB 3.0 tester on the header. Actually have not used said tester. If any of you have access to one or buy one, please comment on results found.
