Product: hp 975 dual mode

Hello,

 

I recently acquired HP 975 keyboard and I struggle with the backlight. When turned on it works fine and adapts to the environment light. However when I lock the function button the backlight works only when the dedicated button is pressed above the numpad and it works for a very limited time, about 10 seconds. Then even when used the keyboard remains dark. 

Therefore I have two questions:

1) How to enable adjustable backlight when function button is locked?

2) How to enable backlight permamently?
