Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
- Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks for your help.
This did not happen during a recent update
I have not made any software changes
VI have tried some troubleshooting steps. There was one that I could not try because VI could not see in one field what I was typing to be able to correct it (I have to delete all the "v's)
This is the product number of my computer E1E99UAR#ABAv
I also just tried to clean my keyboard and now my ctrl key is not working correctly.v
This happened about a month or so ago and I changed the battery in the keyboard and that seemed to fix it, but now the problem has returned.
