After the October update (KB4517389) installed on 5 November, the keyboard is switching on and off while the Caps lock light is also switching on and off. Meanwhile I can hear numerous sounds like when I plug in a USB device.
I tried uninstalling the keyboard driver and reinstalling it via windows but without success. Would it be possible that you could supply me a specific driver for this keyboard?
Thanks for your help in this.

Thanks for joining HP Community!
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also, ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
If the issue persists, refer to this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03738933 for Keyboard Troubleshooting.

I have followed your instructions but could not open the support assistant because I needed to open it as an administrator. I neede to right click on HpHwDiag but could not find this file on the PC. However I have been runninng some support assistant scans and managed to stop the switching off and on of the keyboard but beeps are still coming while nothing is hapening.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.
