keyboard partially working what could be the problem. checked batteries all is updated still can't fix using virtual keyboard.

please help

@Farla521 -- did the wireless keyboard come with a "stub" that connects to a USB socket on your computer? If so, move that stub and your keyboard to another computer, to see if your hardware is OK.

 

Try a "wired" keyboard to your computer, to see if your computer "misses" some of your keystrokes.

 

How old is the keyboard? HP offers a 12-month warranty on its products. Exercise the warranty, to get HP to repair/replace it, at HP's expense.  Or, take it back to the retailer that sold it to you, and get them to exchange it.
