test bad keyboard USB in 2nd good PC

test good spare keyboard (borrowed) in bad PC.

now you know for sure why  and need new keyboard, spilled coffee tops or kids hammering it to death.(fits)

i have a spare keyboard which works fine (using it now)..  Its only the spacebar that doesn't work.  I ran the HP utility for keyboard test and the spacebar failed the test.  The computer is under warranty for six more months.  I feel like HP should send me a new keyboard.

if the keyboard is damaged and not abused  warranties work.

most PC  maker the space bar is super  robust,  even like 1million hits and it still works but not coffee damage or abuse.

the issues is can you send back to HP only the keyboard. ?  if not , oops.

I use top grade Cherry switch keyboard, and is 4 years old, (have spare too) and my wife one too,  and never fail.
