Microsoft Windows 11

I copied this question from a previous person as I didn't know how else to get an answer as it hadn't been replied to in a while. This is exactly what I was searching for.

The manual for this PC makes no reference to the keyboard, which is described as an HP915 in the product information.  Nice keyboard but many of the function key icons are different than I am accustomed to and there is no obvious print screen key.  HP support is clueless about any possible manual or instructions that might be useful to better understand the keyboard.  Can anyone provide a description for each of the keys along the top of the keyboard, better yet a web site or manual that I can access?

I hope someone can help. Thank you.

I do not know why HP failed to show the special keys on the keyboard of your PC.

You live in the UK so some of the keys will be different that here in the US.

Why don't you take the first step and post an image that shows all of the function keys clearly?

Many keyboards do not have a print screen keyboard, so there is that to know.

Hi Erico,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I too don't understand why there is not a layout of the keyboard that you can access. I surely cannot be the only one that would like a bit of information on the keys and what they mean and how to get the best out of them.

The keyboard itself is very nice and a pleasure to use as is the Envy 34 and so far I am very pleased with it.

Did you mean to post a photo on here or where? I have included one with this reply just in case.

Thanks again Erico.

Which specific keys do you need an explanation for?

Do you mean the keys on the top row?

For the functions on the F keys, unless you have action keys-enabled in BIOS, holding down the Fn key  and then tapping the desired key will execute the function.

Hi Erico,

To be honest I have pretty much figured them out  now after a bit of trial and error. The only one I can't seem to figure as it doesn't seem to do anything is the one between the scr lk and the search key. Hopefully you can clear that up.

Thank you so much for your patience and replying I really appreciate it.

Kind regards

Alan

Unfortunately, the image on that specific key is not visible enough for me to see.

Hi Erico,

Sorry to be a nuisance.

I have included what I hope is a clearer shot. It looks like copy or paste but doesn't seem to do anything.

Thank you.

It looks like it may be a selected text copy key, but I could be wrong.
