L05757-800 Use on envy 795-0020

Can the L05757-800 HP power supply (500 watt max) replace the 310 watt power supply that came supplied with an HP envy desktop 795-0020?

@Formerphotog , welcome to the Community.

I believe that the L05757-800 should be compatible with your motherboard.  Here is a chart that will explain why I believe this.  If you look at the 795 series it appears they all have the Berks motherboard.  The 0030qd has a 057577-800 listed.  It states that the configuration determines the PSU.  You have the 17-8700 CPU.

I suggest that you contact HP Customer Support to assure they have one to sell you.
