Wireless ELITE V2 DESKTOP Keyboard and Mouse
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

received this HP Wireless Elite V2 keyboard and mouse set new and it does't work because I'm getting an error msg when I insert the USB dongle - 'USB Malfunctioned, the last USB device connected to this computer malfunctioned. Windows does not recognize this device'.  The USB dongle is a Link-5 device, but I don't know where I can get this replaced, or if I have to repurchase one.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@lewK10 , welcome to the Community.

You should contact the seller for help.  If it was purchased directly from HP Store you should contact HP Customer Support.  They will either fix or repair it.  You should not have to work on a new product.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

Thx old_geekster, I didn't  purchase it but received as a gift.  I thought it would be easiest to buy a compatible Link-5 dongle for a few bucks, but not so. I'll  take your advice & contact HP Customer Support as it is brand new & under warranty. Thx again.
