Pavilion BS-143TU

Yesterday, I was turning on my HP Pavilion BS-143TU laptop using a screw driver since the power button is broken until I accidentally sparked the laptop's motherboard because I went a bit too hard. The charger LED shut off and I wasn't able to turn on my laptop ever since so  I left it alone for a bit with and without the use of the charger and there was no signal of life. It seems like I bricked up the laptop but my question is - Am I able to fix this? Can I replace the components to fix it? What else can I do to resolve my problem? It would be very much appreciated for some advise or help!
