Product: HP ZBook Studio G5 Mobile Workstation (7UD25AV)

A few months ago, my 2.5-year-old HP ZBook Studio G5 Mobile Workstation started making these weird crackling noises quite randomly. The sound makes me think of something being stuck in the fans, which I checked and cleaned. Yet, the sound didn't stop. These sounds often correlate with a lot of windows or applications open, but occur so easily that there is no way it is purely caused by too much parallel processing. Any help is appreciated:)
