Hi so my friend, who does not currently have access, has an HP laptop that has an issue with the keyboard.

Whenever a letter on the bottom row of letters on the qwerty keyboard (zxcvbnm), the corresponding number from the numbers row will also appear. E.g. z1 x2 c3 v4 b5 n6 m7 . I have looked around on google and have done some steps to try to solve this. Are there any ideas?

Thanks

Looks like the solution to this was found by my friend. I made the classic mistake of assuming that the friend in question had already tried turning their laptop off and on again.

The solution in this case was restarting the laptop.
