Just curious. I want to add a second top mounted hard drive to my Omen 880. I have served, even chatted with a support person (who said they don't handle questions like that), and have not been able to find an answer. I am hoping that I can add something larger than the other 2 TB hard drives that are already installed (plus the 512 GB SSD). So, what is the largest SATA-3 I can add?
Thanks so much.

Hello
There is much less limitation than before, you should be able to install easily, a SAta hard drive of at least 4 TB
That said, given the number of slots available, it is best to use multiple hard drives
In case of breakdowns you lose less data
You contacted who exactly, curious that we do not answer such a simple question!
unfortunately despite being configurable, no example!
- 512 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe TLC Solid State
- 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (3.5 in)
- 256 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe TLC Solid State + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (3.5 in)
- 256 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe TLC Solid State + 2 TB 7200 rpm HDD (3.5 in)
- 512 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe TLC Solid State + 2 TB 7200 rpm HDD (3.5 in)

Thanks so much. I "chatted" with a representative when I was logged onto the HP Support Assistant. The individual did provide links to the various manuals (which I knew were available on the HP Support Assistant website) but said they did not have that information. And, I agree. I currently have 1 512 GB SSD, the 2 TB internal hard drive, one top 2 TB Hard drive, and want to add at least a 4 TB to the other top slot. And, I have multiple 2 TB external SSD that I use for backups. (It amazes how many people I work with in a large corporate that do not have backups!)
Thanks again.
