Pavilion p6140f
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I know this desktop is a 2009, 10 years old, according to the MB specs I am able to install any 9XXX cpu - I have a Q9650 ordered and should be a drop in replacement. My BIOS ver is 5.37 dated 02/23/2009, Is a later BIOS available for this MB ? I also know the age of this pc means it is dropped from all support - I get it, however I have been in is/it field since 1988 and know archives exist for this very reason. Thanks for any help in locating a later BIOS and the BIOS updating software.

Yes, there is a newer BIOS revision.

I downloaded the file, used 7-zip to extract the exe file into its folder, and here is a copy and paste of the readme file within this BIOS update.
