Hello,
I have been using windows 8.1 for quite a while and I would like to upgrade. My computer uses Intel Core i5 4th generation and the HP 2B0D A01 motherboard. I was wondering what CPUs are compatible with my motherboard, specifically ones that support Windows 10 or 11.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your PC as fitted with the Lavender-G motherboard (SSID: 2B0D) such as an HP Pavilion 23-g020x All-in-One Desktop, is not compatible with any W11 approved processors: you're stuck with a 4th-gen Intel processor.
However, that shouldn't stop you in the least from installing W11 on your AIO, as our Senior HP Expert @Paul_Tikkanen explains: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Desktops/Windows-11-Upgrade-with-incompatible-processer/m-p/911....
Your computer should have plenty of life left in it, but for better computer performance, I would recommend upgrading your processor to an i7-4770T or an i7-4790T.

I would like to add that since you are running W8.1 there is no longer a free upgrade to W10, so you would have to pay for a W10/W11 license and product key in order to update the operating system.
You may want to consider buying an AIO PC that supports W11 if that is the type of PC you like to use.
