I was wondering what the use of the Sata Data connection is for on the lighting controller for these desktops, I see it has power from the PSU hooked up but what is the purpose of the data connection what can it be used for?

I also am looking at removing the WIFi card for a USB 3.0 header. Is this possible?

ok, the first time that i see this

I didn't understand your picture!

I found the video here, one seems to be the connector for the power supply!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm9q-2lcbgg
but I can't say if next to it, if that's the question, that there is a sata data..
No information on the hp site about this.
the same for the usb, I doubt it, there is no indication on the usb port card!
And the employee indicates what are useful
the connectors, no usb!
in any case, I would not test this for you!

"I also am looking at removing the WIFi card for a USB 3.0 header."

the wifi location is specified, only for a wifi card
unfortunately there is only one pci 16x slot
you could try a usb hub, connected to the usb, already available in order to have more connectors!
