Hey all!
I'm looking for a good gaming laptop without going nuts and spending over a grand. I was looking at the Hp Pavilion Gaming laptop as the one, but was asking for advice to see if anyone can guide me. The Hp Omen and the Nitro 5 are the other options as well. But my knowledge for laptops is at a bare minimal and I'm learning as I go. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

@tyeblue , welcome to the forum.
Of course, I am going to recommend the HP laptops! 😉 I have had three of them, all Omens, and bought another for my granddaughter. So, I am very familiar with them. The first thing that you have to remember about laptops is, they are not always easy to upgrade in the future. Many of them have components that can only be added at the time of purchase. Therefore, you want to make certain that you buy what you need. Also, if you are a gamer, I presume you are since you are looking at gaming laptops, the larger the screen and the better the resolution, the better your gaming experience. Here is an Omen for $1,099.99. It is a Configure To Order (CTO) model. You can click on the "Customize & Buy" button to see all of the options that are available. I know that you stated you want to stay under a grand, but to get good gaming performance you should have better components. This is only one man's opinion, but I have a lot of experience gaming with Omen laptops.
