Hello,
6 years ago I bought
The name of PC | HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0015nc |
Now I am looking for an upgrade, but because it is a pre-build PC I have some troubles.
I found out, that
Motherboard | Lincs |
My motherboard has a 7-pin connector to my ATX1.
Otherwise it is all good.
Can you recommend me an official/not official way how to buy or found 7-pin adapter to motherboard ATX1? I have not found the adapter or your official store and also on others.
Thank you.

SATA pinouts
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SATA
To add a disk drive you may need a splitter if there are not enough power connectors
any of these will work for data

I found the spec for your motherboard here
http://web.archive.org/web/20220528084300/https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c05991291
you will need to use Firefox as the link is HTTP not HTTPS
There is an upgrade video here

I do not know of what 7 pin connector you are referring to, sorry.

Hello, Beemer Biker.
I might see the problem now. I was not that specific. The "7-pin cable" is a cable from supply power unit to the ATX1.
So I lately figure out after seing HP motherboard specification, that it could be a SATA cable.
Corect me if I am wrong please.
Thanks for the YT upgrade video too. I didnt write it, but I upgrade a supply power unit. The card trick seems cool.
Back to my first question:
Can I buy the adapter on HP store or should I look for somewhere else?
Can you also link me a supply power unit specification? Or just write me If it is a SATA cable please.
Thank you for fixing kind of a "dumb 7-pin question" by linking a motherboard specification.
