Im looking into getting a new wifi card for my pc because i realized that my current one kinda sucks, i got a steamdeck recently and realized that its getting way better download speed and just better connection than my pc. (3Mb vs 25-30Mb)
im not sure if i need a specific kind of wifi card for my pc or if any one will work so i would like to know which and if i can upgrade it.
Specs.
Ryzen 5 3500
Gtx 1650 Super
400w psu
16gb DDR4 Ram

You are correct.
You PC has a Realtek RTL8821CE Wi-Fi adapter.
Here's the problem with trying to replace that card...
The card only needs one antenna wire to work, so that is all HP installed in your PC.
A better internal Wi-Fi adapter would require two antenna wires in order to work properly.
My recommendation would be to see if updating the Wi-Fi card driver to the latest version currently available helps anything.

The RTL8821CE specifications indicate that it has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band when there is an excellent Wi-Fi signal.
If updating the Realtek Wi-Fi driver doesn't help, I recommend you purchase a USB AX Wi-Fi adapter and that should speed up the Wi-Fi considerably.

Do you mind giving me the site you found the driver on? idk what type of file it is and would like to look into it because I don't like downloading radndom files
also im looking at the wifi adapter and saw that it's similar to a wifi extender. i recently got a wifi extender and also using ethernet in a way and haven't seen a difference in download speed or upload speed. Do you think a wifi adapter will do a better job?

I got the driver from the HP Probook G9 support page.
HP ProBook 450 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC Software and Driver Details
A Wi-Fi adapter is different than a range extender.
That wouldn't help the Realtek wifi adapter' performance any unless your PC is currently getting a poor Wi-Fi signal where it is located.

It doesn't matter.
The same model and type M.2 Wi-Fi adapter is used in both notebook and desktop PC's.
The driver from the HP 450 G9 is guaranteed to install on your PC's Wi-Fi card and will install the driver version and date I had posted earlier.
