My son just inherited an old HP p6000 computer from his grandpa. He would like to replace the hard drive with something that will be more suitable for gaming purposes. Any suggestions on what hard drive would be good to use as a replacement? Many thanks!

I am not a HP employee.
Yes, the HP P6000 is circra 2009.
I don't see this PC being very good with current AAA games due to processor, chipset, and graphics card limitations.
That being said, the best storage device upgrade would be a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. But it appears this motherboard is limited to SATA II.
