Hi all, I have an ho TG01-2xxx Specs are i511400, Rtx 3060, 8gb 3200 base ram, ssd. Anyways I had recently upgraded the ram to 16GB 3200 cl 16-18-32 ram but it only runs at 2400mhz and seeing as there is no xmp in bios there is no way to fix this. So I am asking if someone can help me find hp verified 16GB 3200 mhz ram that works at 3200mhz
system board: 8860 A (SMVB)
System BIOS: F.10

That is the Stark motherboard

Unfortunately, the HP documentation is limited.
The simplest manner to find out which memory is guaranteed compatible is to use the Crucial Memory scan

Their memory is highly regarded.

Unfortunately HP Pavilion TG01-1xxx is not specific enough identification as the Pavilion TG01-1xxx model series encompasses quite a few.
The HP Support Assistant or pressing the F1 key immediately after powering on to invoke the system information dialogue will show more information.
It would help to have either the Product number or the complete product name. (Pavilion TG01-1xxxi or 1xxxa)
The reason I need that info is to see which motherboard your desktop has. The desktop information will let me know what your memory bus speed is. The memory bus speed is the limiting factor. If your notebook was delivered with 2400 MHz memory it is because that is the only memory bandwidth the memory will operate at. If 3200 Mhz memory modules are installed the BIOS firmware will downclock the module(s) to the motherboard's designated bandwidth (speed).
Some Pavilion gaming Desktops are delivered with the Baker motherboard which accepts 2666 MHz memory modules. If you install CPU-z and run it you can find out which motherboard is installed.

I know that is a lot to ingest, but that is how it works.
Be aware that a prebuilt desktop PC is unlike a DIY system in that you cannot use advanced settings in BIOS to modify the DIMM voltage or the primary or secondary memory timings. Prebuilt desktop PC motherboards have very limited BIOS.
