HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I’m looking to get a graphics card for my hp model TPO1-2022. The motherboard is a hp 8906 SMVB. Everywhere I’ve seen says I need to upgrade the PSU as 180w isn’t enough to run any good sort of graphics card. Can anyone point me to compatible PSU for my PC?
thanks in advance!!!

@Jrjrdy16,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

Your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C9AV) as fitted with an Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906), is compatible with this 310-watt power supply with p/n: L89232-001 / L64961-800 [this power supply is difficult to get/purchase], this 400-watt power supply with p/n: L69242-800 / L04618-800, and this 500-watt power supply with p/n: L81009-800.

I would recommend the 400-watt power supply upgrade.  You can buy this power supply online, such as this purchase option via a trusted eBay Seller: New For HP Power Supply 942332-001 400W 280 288 285 480 600 680 800 790 G3 G4 US | eBay.  With this power supply, you can power a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 4060 model such as this Amazon purchase example: Amazon.com: PNY GeForce RTX™ 4060 8GB XLR8 Gaming Verto™ Dual Fan OC Graphics Card DLSS 3 (128-bit, ..., but depending on your budget/graphics card needs, with this 400-watt power supply you can power any number of less expensive but still quite decently performing graphics cards, such as a GTX 1650 as seen here with this incredibly priced example: Amazon.com: ASUS Phoenix GeForce GTX 1650 OC Edition 4GB PH-GTX1650-O4GD6-P Graphics Card : Electron....

Kind Regards,
