Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello i currently have had the HP Omen Obelisk Desktop 875-0xxx for around 6 years and its served me great, however im looking to upgrade my current GPU and CPU, at the moment i have a RTX 2060 paired with a i7-9700f and thats with the stock motherboard which is the HP 84FD. If i were to replace those with a : i7 14th 14900k and a Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB would i face any issues and please let me know if it would work or if I need to upgrade other parts of my HP Omen Obelisk.

Many thanks in advance

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Your MB may be limited to 65watt TDP CPUs per this HP Site. The 9700F is maxed out.

You best bet is to buy a new HP PC or build a new PC having the components on your wish list.

The component upgrades you want to do will not work with your PC's MB (14900K) and may not work with your PC's case (7800 XT). An AMD reference dual fan, dual slot 7800XT is 10.5 inches in length.
