Hello, I am looking to upgrade my Integrated GPU (Intel® UHD Graphics 730) on Omnidesk Slim S03-0013W to something that can handle modern games in at least 1080p resolution with good frames per minute without spending too much money. I'm looking within the 200-300$ price range. I'm also open to any other good options that are cheaper than that price range, especially with Black Friday just passing and now as of today it being Cyber Monday. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly new to this subject and I want to go about it correctly and safely while avoiding spending too much. Thank you and I'm looking forward to a helpful response.

Greetings @rmans89

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Your PC's specs can be reviewed at this Site.

A successful discrete graphics card upgrade requires the following:

1. Ample case space to accommodate the discrete graphics card upgrade

2. An available PCIe x16 slot required to install a discrete graphics card.

3. The correct power supply wattage to power a discrete graphics card.

1. The S03-0013w case length and depth are: 11.97 inches by 3.94 inches respectively. This means it may be possible do a Low Profile graphics card in the HP case.

2. Your PC's MB has a PCIe x16 slot required to install a discrete graphics card. (per the above site specifications)

3. The S03 case ships with a 180 watt power supply. Your graphics card upgrade options would be limited to a 75 watt graphics card. You would not get decent FPS playing modern AAA games using a 75 watt graphics card.

I think it is going to be difficult to do a discrete graphics card upgrade capable of playing modern games in a SFF case having a low wattage PSU.

I don't know if your HP PC has any PSU upgrade options. HP uses proprietary: power supplies, cases, and MBs in the S03 series PCs.

Amazon has some low profile graphics cards available for sale. You would have to check each perspective graphics card's: dimensions and power requirements to see if any of those GPUs will work with your PC's: case and power supply.

@NonSequitur777 may have additional: GPU purchase options and possible power supply upgrade options.

It's difficult to convert a proprietary SFF PC, not intended for gaming, with space limitations and possible component upgrade roadblocks into a decent gaming PC.

@rmans89,

Your HP OmniDesk Slim Desktop PC S03-0013w has some limitations.  Graphics card options with a 180-watt power supply are limited.

You'll want to look for a low-profile, single-slot card.  Make sure that the card actually comes with a low-profile mounting bracket.

For an 180-watt power supply, some of the best -and most affordable graphics card options at the moment are:

1.) Dell AMD Radeon RX 6300 2GB GDDR6 for $73.99: https://www.ebay.com/itm/267400052883?_skw=rx+6300&itmmeta=01KBFSMBR688T6H5YDCH6P8QJN&hash=item3e424....

2.) Nvidia Quadro P620 2GB GDDR5 for $34.98: https://www.ebay.com/itm/197846472809?_skw=quadro+P620&itmmeta=01KBFSQ3HRND8AFN6PBVM5Z8TM&hash=item2....

3.) Nvidia Quadro P1000 4GB GDDR5 for $79.99: NVIDIA Quadro P1000 PCIe 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card 919987-002 Low Profile - TESTED | eBay.

4.) Dell AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB GDDR5 for $49.95: https://www.ebay.com/itm/336322136094?_skw=low+profile+rx+550&itmmeta=01KBFT03WKA25KZPSDJ5NBHX0S&has....

5.) GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 for $229.99: https://www.amazon.com/maxsun-RTX-3050-Graphics-DisplayPort/dp/B0F9P1BBLD/ref=sr_1_1?crid=16RR9ZRO3T....  Amazon customer feedback: "Multiple reviewers confirm it works great in Dell OptiPlex systems with 180W and 240W power supplies without any issues. One customer specifically mentioned "I installed this card on my dell optiplex 3040 with a 180W power supply and it enumerated flawlessly." "

Another lower-cost low-profile, single-slot Yeston RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 for $199.00: Amazon.com: Yeston RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 Graphics Cards Nvidia pci Express 4.0 x8 Video Cards Desktop C....

Unconfirmed reports suggest that this 400-watt power supply with p/n: P20984-001 "SKO-POWER SUPPLY UNIT 400W FY25 EPA92 3x12V" is compatible with your desktop. This unit is available ("in stock") for sale via HP for $138: https://partsurfer.hp.com/?searchtext=P20984-001.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
