Greetings @Panditvikesh200

Welcome to the HP Forum.

The wireless mouse/keyboard combos are typically paired to a specific USB dongle (receiver).

This means you would have to buy a new wireless combo if you can't find the USB receiver that is paired to your mouse and keyboard.

Hi @Panditvikesh200,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing the details. For your HP combo (Model: CM-892G / PN: 4SC12PA#ACJ), I’ll keep this clear:

About the lost USB receiver (dongle)

These HP wireless keyboard & mouse combos use a 2.4GHz USB receiver that is factory-paired to that specific set.

👉 This means:

  • The keyboard and mouse will not work without the original dongle
  • A different or universal receiver will not pair
  • HP does not provide separate replacement dongles for this model

This is how these devices are designed.

What are your options?

Unfortunately, in this case:

👉 The combo cannot be used without the original USB receiver
👉 There is no supported way to reconnect or replace just the dongle

Best option

You will need to purchase a new keyboard & mouse combo: Click Here

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
