Pavillion 590-p0057c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the Pavilion 590-p0057c with the standard Lincs 843B motherboard. I am trying to figure out what kind of M.2 2280 SSD drive that is compatible with my computer. The motherboard specs webpage that HP provides is of no use.  I found conflicting information on whether it is NVMe compatible or only SATA compatible. I have seen YouTube videos where people have used NVMe drives, but the Crucial Memory system checker says it is only SATA compatible, and some posts here say SATA and some say NVMe.  If it is NVMe compatible, is it compatible with PCIe Gen 3.0 x4?

Hi:

This is the only discussion I can find about that motherboard.

It appears to support NVMe drives as long as you have the latest BIOS update installed.
