Hi Rariza,

This is all very confusing.

When facing the M.2 socket and looking at the socket design:

I believe a SATA Key B M.2 socket has a missing sixth pin on the left side of the socket. Five pins with a missing sixth pin.

I believe a PCIe NVME Key M M.2 socket has a missing seventh pin on the right side of the socket. Six pins with a missing seventh pin.

I can't see the socket pin layout in your second image.

A Key B SATA drive will fit in a Key M socket because it has both missing connections. But it may not work if the motherboard manufacture only supports PCIe.

I still think your MB only supports PCIe M.2 drives.

This is my best guess.

It seems you have a SATA M.2 installed in the first image.

Does it work? Does the BIOS see this drive?

The preponderance of the evidence seems to suggest M.2 SATA drives don't work with your BIOS if the installed M.2 SATA drive in your first image is not seen in the BIOS.

Regards
