1. Can I use M.2 NVMe SSD drives in my computer or am I limited to M.2 SATA SSD?
and
2. Can I use the SATA port of DVD writer to replace said DVD writer with a second SATA hard disk drive?
Thanks in advance for any assistance on these matters.

1) The M.2 socket is NMVe on that machine.
2) You will need to unplug the leads to the DVD, then inspect. HP has conflicting pictures of the cabling. Some show 2 separate normal SATA connectors, another shows a molded 1 piece. Need to confirm.
