800 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello -

 

We purchased M.2 SSD for all of our 800 G3 All-in-Ones. Micron 1100 256gb SATA m.2 to be exact. 

 

I cannot get the computer to recognize the drive at all! Just updated to latest BIOS, Chipset, etc. and still nothing.

is the difference you're pointing out referring to PCIe vs SATA? Does the HP only support PCIe for the m.2?

Some of the older units can support SATA.

 

Everyone is transitioning to PCIe or  NVMe.
