Hi I have a desktop Envy 795-0011na with windows 11.  I am trying to confirm if I can fit an m.2 SSD drive to my motherboard.  I think there is a socket 3 (M key) slot on the board but am not sure if there are different types of NVMe cards and hence which to buy.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Hi:

According to the product specs for your PC it already comes with a 256 GB NVMe SSD and a 2 TB mechanical hard drive that was meant to be used for storage only.

There are no additional M.2 slots to add a second NVMe SSD.

Many thanks.  I was assuming the SSD fitted from new was SATA.  Perhaps I should open the case and look closer at the motherboard.
