The PSU in your computer is 180W. HP has all of their components designed to work with the other components. The 1650 will not get enough power to operate properly. You will have to upgrade the PSU. The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP. HP has a 500W PSU (L05757-800) that should be compatible with your motherboard.
I suggest that you contact HP Customer Support before ordering the PSU to assure that it is compatible.
