Looking for a BIOS update for my motherboard, but couldn't find anything on HP's site. The current BIOS version is 5.17 dated at 1/7/2010. Any help is much appreciated.

This is what I believed would be the case. I had checked the Product Specifications page for an update and none was available. The updates are model specific.

@AmjadSeif, welcome to the forum.
The only BIOS updates that will work with HP motherboards are those developed by HP. Since there is none on HP's website, updating is not possible. Your computer is old enough that none will be developed.

BIOS updates actually DO exist for that board currently. This is a direct download link for 6.14 BIOS update. Make sure the power to the PC does NOT go out during the BIOS update.

Be extremely careful with this update. There is none shown on the Product Specifications page for the computer. This update may be for a model not compatible with your motherboard. The link doesn't give any compatibility information about the update.

This link downloads sp52418.exe.
The properties description is: 2A99 Motherboard BIOS Update
Windows 10 Home version 1903 would not allow this to run.

@TheN00bBuilder and @RockFox ,
Actually sp52418 does not conform to the exact model number CQ5320 as shown here.
@RockFox but you did reference the OS was not compatible. That was correct.
