Hello,
My motherboard M2N68-LA is retired from HP’s website, and I cannot find the latest bios for this motherboard.
If someone can please give me the latest bios version for this motherboard, I know it is a very old motherboard, but there is an newer version of the BIOS that id like to update to.
My current BIOS version is at 5.17.
Thank you

Yes, you are correct. Another unfortunate piece of intel - the HP motherboard identified as the M2N68-LA has several iterations. Most common for those older PC's is the Narra-2 but there are Narra3, Narra5, and Narra6, also. Only the newer versions can run the higher coded BIOS's. So check the exact version Narra that is installed.
It might help to know why you wish to have a newer version. If you are looking for a particular feature that the present BIOS does not support, it would be helpful. If you are just looking for a newer version- just because, then the 5.17 version is probably the newest for the motherboard you have.
I'm not an HP employee.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply. I recently installed a new CPU, AMD Athlon 2 x4 955 95w, and the BIOS is not recognising it, it is saying “amd processor model unknown” in task manager, and is locking the chip at 0.8 ghz. I know the CPU is supported by the motherboard, which is NARRA2, and other people have got it to work successfully too. I just need to update the BIOS to see if it works, as online, I have seen people with the same motherboard, and same CPU, working completely fine. I can’t access the BIOS through the HP website because the motherboard is retired, so I wanted to ask if anyone has the latest, or newer, version of the BIOS.
