My computer has a 2  TB hard drive C:

Can it be upgraded to a 4 TB hard drive?

Hi:

2 TB would be the max since your PC does not have a UEFI BIOS.

A UEFI BIOS allows hard drives in excess of 2 TB to be used as boot drives since they can be formatted with the GPT partition table.

See this HP whitepaper regarding that information.
