Hi, the specs list max HD as 250GB. Can i install a 500GB and will it simply not run, cause instability or only recognise 250GB available? Win 10 and 7 64 bit am running both on split 250GB hard drive right now and need replacing soon.
thanks

Yes you can install 500GB, 1TB or 2TB (more than 2TB HDD's are normally thicker, they won't physically fit). 250GB is the pre installed HDD at that time.
Regards.

Thanks for the reply. So its a space issue and not a operating issue? So when you see specs for any laptop, will it only be what windows can handle assuming you can jam in a multiplatter 2.5" into the space? I think Win 10 could handle more than you would want anyway? Does a laptop have limits less than what windows OS can handle 32 or 64 bit?
This laptop also can only handle 4GB' of ram??. Even with 64 bit Win 10, is that all it will recognise or accept?
Thanks
Tim.
