Hi everyone!
I recently got myself an HP Pro Mini 400 G9, and I’m really happy with it so far. I’m planning to upgrade the SSD but couldn’t find clear information about the maximum M.2 NVMe SSD capacity the motherboard supports.
I’m considering a Samsung 990 PRO 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD, but I’m unsure if the system can handle a 4TB drive.
Additionally, for this machine, should I go for the model with the heatsink or the one without the heatsink?
Has anyone here successfully installed a 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD in the Pro Mini 400 G9? I’d appreciate any advice or recommendations!
Thanks in advance!

Greetings @RoyceHUN
Your PC's specs Here show one M.2 2280 socket for storage.
System drive capacity is usually limited by the operating system.
W11 can do any current consumer drive you can throw at it. A 4 TB drive is a walk in the park.
Your PC's CPU/MB/chipset should be compatible.
The 990 Pro (I have one) can run hot when transferring a lot of data,
I would go with a heatsink if the aftermarket heatsink works with your MB and case. And the PC did not ship with a factory heatsink.
