- Supports 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB DDR4 SODIMMs

Hi:
The memory upgrade specs are indicating the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.
The Crucial memory report for your model PC indicates the same.

Dual channel memory architecture Two DDR4 SODIMM (260-pin) sockets- here, that means you have two slots, with one or both already used, and ddr type !
Supports up to PC4-19200 (DDR4-2400)- here the supported frequency/speed
- https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/gaming/resources/how-much-ram-gaming.html
Supports 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB DDR4 SODIMMs- here what you can place in a slot, max capacity for each module so from 2 to 8 gb per slot!
Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems NOTE:32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.if you have a 32-bit windows version, which is rarely the case these days, the maximum that will be usable will be 4 gb
the 32-bit version cannot handle morehttps://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00820047
Supports up to 16 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit systemsNOTE:Maximum memory shown reflects the capability of the hardware and can be limited further in the operating system. Here, so the motherboard will accept a maximum in total with two slots used, under windows 64 bits, 16 gb of memory
Is this per SLOT, Per Socket, per memory card or TOTAL, FInal adding both slots?
Manual Says "Supports up to 16 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit systems" Is this per slot?
