Can you please provide the exact model or product number of the PC for further help. 590-p0xxx is for the whole series with lots of models with different motherboards and specifications. Here is link to HP support page showing how to find this:

Hi,

 

There is some confusion in the documentation of this desktop. Anyway, the PC supports max 32GB of DDR4 2666Mhz RAM (2x16GB)

You can use your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...

OK. It is not a secret :generic:

 

Let me start by saying that I believe all HP desktops or notebooks with DDR4 RAM and modern Intel CPU will run with 32GB of RAM.

 

Now, here is the spec page for your motherboard (look under memory)
